This was our first cruise and we totally loved it. Viking is a first class operation - great customer service, our experience was wonderful - highly recommend it. We did the Romantic Danube, from Budapest to Nuremberg - great stops along the way.
The food on board was very good and the service fantastic. We bought the silver spirits package, for unlimited cocktails, beer and wine - we thought this ended up being a great value.
We were there in August, and the weather was great - in the 80's every day. The organized tours were well done, interesting and informative. We liked having some free time each day to explore on our own.
