We chose this cruise because we had taken another Viking cruise on the Rhone river and had a wonderful experience. We had a minor problem in the dining room on the Normandy cruise. We understand that Viking has no control over rude passengers. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time with our families. Wonderful food and accommodations, and a very friendly, attentive staff with the one small incident in the dining room. Would definitely take another Viking cruise and would recommend them to others.

The excursions were very nice with knowledgable guides. We would have liked a little more time at the Normandy beaches but we realized that there was not much left there from the war. The ceremony at the cemetery was very touching and there weren't many dry eyes in our group.

As older passengers, we really appreciated the Viking people's assistance getting us from and back to the airport. Also in getting us to our Paris hotel.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda room

The cabin was very nice, clean and efficient. It was small but very well organized. We didn't spend much time there as there were so many other things we wanted to do. The cabin was almost always made up when we returned from breakfast.
