We have tried ocean cruises in the past and wanted to try a River Cruise. When we learned there were only 180 passengers on the Viking River ships compared to the ocean liners with thousands of passengers we were hooked. By having fewer guests, the staff was able to be extra attentive to each guest. When we arrived in Paris we were greeted by Vikings Representatives and taken directly to the Rolf. It is a great ship. Our room was amazing. The food we were served at each meal was like dining in a five star restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the planned excursions as well as the extra ones we chose. We met many other couples who felt the same as we did. This was our second Viking River Cruise. Last year we did the Rhine Getaway and it was wonderful. We are now planning our third Viking River Cruise.
