Always wanted to do a Viking Cruise. We did the Rhine Getaway in April 2016. Highly recommend if anyone does this Cruise when you are in Strasbourg, France to do the optional tour "A Taste of Alsace". What a wonderful excursion. One day we cruised and saw so many castles it was unbelievable. I think there were about 18 castles. Also like how you have free time to tour or shop or just go into town for local entertainment. And Joey, our tour director, was the best! No complaints regarding the food or drinks. The themed dinners were very nice, especially German Night. Enjoyed the accordion player and the organ grinder. We really have no complaints about this Cruise and are ready to go again!

The only con was the weather at the end went we got to Amsterdam. We did the extra nights but it rained and hailed and was so cold we were unable to really do anything. Oh well, Que Sera' Sera'!

Room was very nice. Way better than on a cruise ship. Loved the bathroom!! We were on the lower level, but loved looking out our window. The first morning of our trip, looked out the window and was eye to eye with a half dozen swans swimming by. Can't get a view like that on the upper levels!
