We originally booked because of a referral from a friend. After doing some research, we found that the line had many satisfied guests, our experience met and exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and very good but not overbearing, the food was excellent, and the excursions were interesting and enjoyable.

My constructive remarks are that the cabins are a bit small, especially the shower but very acceptable. The wifi was slow and sometimes had no service making it difficult to stay connected to work. Also wifi related, if the cabin would allow for a wifi connected TV device like an Amazon Fire Stick or a Chrome-cast (HDMI connected to the TV), so travelers can stream news from their respective countries, states and cities. The selection of standard channels on-board were very limited.

We would absolutely travel with Viking again, maybe opt for one of the suites next time for more room (We chose Veranda B room), but overall, a very enjoyable cruise experience.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Small but comfortable and cozy. The bathroom and shower were very small and hard to get around in. Wifi was slow or non-existent making it difficult to stay in touch. As an owner of a business, this is very important when I travel. Email is not time sensitive enough, sometimes you need a text or a call right away.
