We spent a great deal of time on buses. We realize this was due to some of the work on locks. We felt short changed on the river tours. There was very little to do in the evenngs except sit in the piano bar. Part of this was due to weather conditions as it was cold and we could not spend much time out side. We are glad we went to Buapest early to see the city before boarding, again weather played a role in this rating . we don't think the cruise was of good value compared to the ocean cruises we have been on. The staff was excellent and the service was excellent. We realize the smaller river ships do not have the facilities the large ships do but maybe a few evening activities could be organized, maybe Trivia, music quizes ect. The trip to the market in Vienna with the chef and cruise director were one of our highlights and then our evening in Vienna was a great day all around.
