Just back from the Enchantment of the Seas. From the time we stepped onboard until the end we experienced the usual outstanding service from RCL. We enjoyed the cruise very much. We had a balcony cabin on deck 7 which was wonderful. Of course the shower is always too small, but that's on all ships. With the balcony cabin you have a good deal of room in your cabin including a sitting area. I am spoiled with the balcony. You can just climb out of bed, put on your RCL bathrobe, go out on your balcony & watch the sunrise as well as the ship pull into port. However, it is not a private balcony. The dividers between the balconies are thin & our "cabin neighbors" would lean over the railing somewhat & peer over at me in the morning. That was an irritation. The neighbors on the other side would come in late & be very loud while we were trying to sleep. I don't ever remember having any of these problems on past ships. Maybe we always had courteous neighbors in the past or maybe I'm just getting old. I was most surprised by the very little motion experienced on this trip in the first few days. All the public areas were nice & clean. We did the MTD for dinner and enjoyed the flexibility very much. We had a table by the window on 4 out of 5 nights & the same wait staff. The shows were pretty good. The cruise director "Marc" made all the shows, games & other activities very entertaining. However, we heard he was leaving RCL for another line at the end of the May 09. Too bad. It has been five years since we last cruised & this cruise was a pleasant reminder of how much we LOVE to cruise!!!!
