I always was intrigued by the TV commercials on PBS. Just looked to be a relaxing and enjoyable itinerary. It was! Wonderful shore excursions/sightseeing and amazing very comfortable cabin (I travelled as a single). The staff from cabin steward to waiters/bar tenders to cruise director, guides & reception were all FANTASTIC!! The food was excellent and all I can think about is when can I do this again!? Most of the daily shore excursions are 4-5 hours so you can relax in the afternoon. Some of the optional full day excursions are 8 hours or more. The evening lounge is relaxing you can meet with new found friends, there is dancing and a very talented piano/singer. Some stops have local entertainers which put on a evening show/dancing/singing. The Austrian singers which sung well known/loved songs from "The Sound of Music" was truly fun!! The crew was very accommodating and I was surprised that most mornings my cabin was already made up by the time I returned from breakfast.
