we wanted to join a couple we traveled with before. We like France. But not up to our expectations. Service was very good, but no one was from France and so really didn't know the france culture. We had trouble with our ships engine, so that difficinetly caused a nnegative feeling among the people on the ship. The locations we visiste were graet. Some of the guides were very noligable and some were just mediocure. The food was very good, as ussal but some of the "local" menu could have been better. Too much time was spent on busses traveling to diffent locations.

We took a cruise down the Danube inthe prior year, it was much better as the German commander wea much more in control and knowlegfable about our area and destination.

the Cruise director was better. These little things made a differnce. We are going on a cruicse next year in May, I hope it more like the first cruise and not the second./
