I was pleasantly surprised with the service that Viking provided. Transfers to and from airports were effortless for the traveler. Accommodations on the ship were excellent: a well thought out stateroom with plenty of room in bedroom and bath. The ship was beautiful, food delicious, and the staff was friendly and very considerate.
Viking thinks of every detail: Bottled water in the room, umbrellas for rainy weather, easy to use audio system for guided tours (which were excellent), and afternoon cookies waiting upon arrival from that guided tour.
The ports and excursions included in the tour were interesting, beautiful, and historically significant. The entertainment and special events on board such as a cooking demonstration or other cultural program from the area were interesting.

Veranda Stateroom
Well located close to the lounge and library. Viking has thought of every detail in making the best use of space and lighting in both bedroom and bath. Our cabin steward was always available for any requests that we had...very accommodating.
