Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

We selected this particular river boat cruise as it coincided with the conclusion of our Germany / Austria land tour and offered a slight discount in conjunction with the Globus / Avalon family. The level of service was 'Outstanding' in every way. The diverse food was always very good. We traveled with two other couples and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that the river boat was never crowded and we enjoyed the company of the other guests throughout the week. The included excursions, in addition to the optional excursions, were always well-orchestrated and very well managed. The Director of Activities on the cruise did an outstanding job of handling every aspect of our unique request to visit one of the local wineries owned by distant relatives. My only suggestion for improvement, was the fact that the bus trip to the Black Forest took three hours round trip yet we were only allowed 30 minutes to shop for handmade mementos in what was perhaps the most desirable shop of the entire week.

Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

Cabin B

Cramped quarters (I get it, it's a river boat). Need additional shelf space in bathroom. Excellent shower and extremely comfortable bed.
