This is my 3rd time going on a cruise ship with Carnival. I have to say I was a little worried about the ship after reading some of the others. We flew in a few days before the trip to see Barcelona and thought the area was very pretty.

Getting on the boat was very easy and was less than 20 minutes. The staff were very helpful and seemed to move people right along. Getting off was just as easy, we took our own luggage so we just walked right off the ship. We stayed 4 days after the trip.

I thought the layout and color choices on the boat were well thought out and loved the in and out door walk ways. There is a lot of things to do on the ship and even though it was full of guests I didnt feel like it was too many. I never had to wait for things like others and the staff were always very nice to me and my husband. We also did not have to wait for a sun bed and also never had to wait in line for food.

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

The room was amazing!!! With 3 adults was not cramped. Had a jetted tub, which i used daily. Walk in closet so we had plenty of room for things. The balcony was nice and we laid out on towels one day.

Port Reviews

Marseille

Not a ton to do here but very pretty. Do not spend the 17$ to take the bus walk less then 5 minutes to the benches for the free shuttle down town.

Florence (Livorno)

We booked a private bus company before the trip. We found out that the museum that David is in closed on Mondays and hard to find. Lots of things to see and take lots of pictures.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Of course there is tons to do. We wasted a lot of money on the Roma pass so dont do that. We also got stuck at train station for 4-5 hours with about 50 other Carnival people. The trains lost power, not fun at all. We got back about 15 minutes before the time to be back. The walk to the train station is easy to get to so dont spend money on bus or cab. It took about 15-20 minutes to get there.

Naples

We took a private bus again and I finally got to see Pompeii!!! It was amazing and wished I had more time to look but well worth it.

Crete (Heraklion)

I didnt think this stop was worth it. We were bored and back on boat in about 30 minutes.

Rhodes

Do NOT spend money on excursions with any one!!!!! The old town is viewable from the boat and was so much FUN... Smells a bit like a litter box but besides that it was great. We were out looking around all day

Athens (Piraeus)

Hop on Hop off bus was great to get to all the best stops. Takes you to all the main things. We stayed at Piraeus for 4 days after the cruise and liked that area. Found a little local museum that was fun.

Barcelona

We got there a few days early and just walked around. It was very busy and lots of things to see.
