RESEARCHED ALL VENUES - DID NOT WANT LARGE SHIP OR ONE WITH 20 OR LESS WE HAD 27 PAX 18 CREW - SHIP IS A TREASURE - OLD WORLD AMBIANCE
Guides and crew beyond excellent - have traveled most of the world on many small ships, (my preference) and this one outshone all the others - food was outstanding participated in most of the activities, am 90 years of age - there was no problem since most treks were divided into two groups super athletic and not as agile. had lots of help over the difficult terrain and really did not miss anything. the daily 2 panga trips were mostly wet landing and no problem there. would strongly recommend this trip because of its versatility. quasars drivers and personnel were all on time and willing to do the extra step - i.e. Streets in quito cordoned off because of humanity conference. driver cheerfully lugged our luggage down 4 cobblestone blocks to hotel and we had a more difficult departure from casona de la ronda - again driver hauled luggage for a great distance. it was a trip of a lifetime quasar does an outstanding job of keeping all aspects absolutely reliable.
REALIZING SHIP IS 42 YEARS OLD, CABIN WAS CHARMING - HAD TWO WINDOWS AND WAS KEPT SPOTLESSLY CLEAN
