We sailed on the Celebrity Millennium October 2106 for a 14-night Japan and China cruise.

Ports were fabulous. Very easy to explore on your own. Great metro systems that were very easy to navigate. Shuttles were available if ship was not centrally docked. Celebrity provided very good maps, including metro maps, of the various ports. These maps combined with port talks (Patricia's) made it easy to tour on your own.

Pro and cons with the ship itself. Pool areas fabulous, no smoking in the casino, more relaxed elegant nights, wonderful service. Disembarkation very smooth at every port and the captain and cruise were brilliant reacting to news that Shanghai port was closed. Typhon in the area so the port closed, delaying our arrival. This necessitated rearranging shore excursions and creating new activities to fill the extra time on the ship. We were kept well advised and the captain made decisions which resulted in our arriving ahead of some of the other ships waiting to sail into port. All handled brilliantly.
