This was a great trip. We were on the edge of a Typhoon and you could hardly feel the rough seas. It was very smooth sailing. Embarkaton and diembarkation were done well and with efficencey. The ship in places was a little tired, but otherwise very good. The cabin was a mini suite and it was spacious and great to spend time in it. The bathroom was great and we had a bath, the shower head however was stuck in the corner and not adjustable, so we had to try and stand well in the corner to shower and this made it difficult. The dinning was average. They really did not cater for people with food allergies. The bistro was also good, but the food did not change, you could predict what was available at any given time. The staff in the bistro was fantastic and were very helpful. The entertainment was very good. There were a couple of shows that were below par, but that is to be expected on a cruise of this length. The service and the staff were excellent and I could not fault them. The ports and the excursions were also fantastic and well worth doing.

The only problem was the deck 15, most people wanted to do circutes of the deck for exercise and it was continually blocked off and it has partitions on the back of the ship which was annoying. The shops were only for those wanting to shop in high end shops or those who were watching the pennies, nothing inbetween. Went to all the art auctions and even bought a few paintings. The only negative there is that they now ship the paintings individually (have not revieved them yet to see if that really happens) and charge you accordingly. On previous cruise they would send groups of 3 or more and charge one standered mailing fee.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

The cabin was great. it had ample closit space, the bedroom area was spacious, the lounge area was also large and with a large balcony, it made it easy for staying there for nearly 3 weeks.

Port Reviews

Singapore

We did not take an excursion from the ship, instead we bought a 24 hour ticket on the hop-on hop-off bus, which covered us for the 2 days we were there.

Tokyo (Yokohama)

Great Place and we would love to go back and explore this wonderful country some more.
