We liked the idea of visiting many cities over a short period of time with no hassles e.g booking in and out of hotels and transfers etc. We found the staff friendly, the food very good and the accommodation outstanding. The tours that were included with the cruise were well organised and very interesting. All the buses we went on were very modern. One of the buses even had 5G wifi available! The only negative we encountered was the wifi on the boat. It was fine to check emails, but not strong enough to send pictures etc. The food was of a good standard with just enough variety for boredom not to set in at dinnertime by the end of the cruise. Service was quick and efficient. Wine and beer were available with dinner only, it would be nice to see it served with lunch. The bathroom was excellent with a large shower and lots of space around the basin for toiletries etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. The large sliding doors which opened directly onto the railings, made sitting in the room very relaxing when travelling down the Danube. The hotel in Prague was very average. The rooms were extremely hot with no way to cool them down. The food and drinks at the hotel were easily double the price of the local restaurants we went to. We would definitely recommend the Prague to Budapest cruise on Avalon's Panorama Cruise ship.

Great way to travel
