On Tuesday, Nov 8th, I booked this cruise for myself and my husband. I just got a new job and will start it soon without vacation for a year. I wanted a quick get away before starting. I looked for the least expensive cruise in the next few days out of Galveston, so that we didn't need to fly- we could drive. I called Carnival and booked this cruise. It was not a great price, but not too much. We always book least expensive cabin - so inside on lowest deck... this cruise no different.

This was my 6th Carnival cruise (My 16th overall).

Check in at cruise port went smoothly. We didn't have any wait or issues. We boarded the ship around 1:30pm. The rooms were available. So, we went straight to our room. The beds were not together, but that is not a big deal- easily fixed. My husband had to use the bathroom. He did...but the toilet did not flush- just made odd noise. We called housekeeping and informed them of the beds needing to be moved and the toilet issue. They sent a plummer who got it working- thank goodness!! :-)
