Suggested by my travel agent. Then I read many reviews and felt confident it would be a great river cruise. No disappointment at all.

The ship was the SS Maria Theresa, very opulent and beautiful decorated.

The food was delicious and abundant. The service was impeccable. Wonderful, friendly and hard-working staff always there to greet you and help you. Every night the cruise manager, sometimes with the Captain would inform us of the next day's activities, pointing out the highlights of each port. Every night the wine sommelier would explain the best wines of the region. The excursions were well organized. At one point, due to low water our Vienna port was ahead of schedule, so we had a private concert just for the Uniworld passengers at no extra charge and even gifted every stateroom with an CD of the evening!
