Been on several other cruises. Was not happy with being asked continually to pay extra for drink packages, extra dining also so much encouragement to shop as an activity. Photos pushed at you every where. Bingo was $38US for 3 games. We found everything was very expensive especially as it's US dollars. Entertainment was pretty average. Food in buffet was not real good. cold vegetables when available - so much roast pork - frozen seafood cocktails to mention a few. Safety drill was awful. Crammed in hot room standing for ages very unprofessional. Other ships you line up on deck opposite tender designated to you in case of emergency. Tendering to ports was very disorganised also having to queue very early for tender tickets then not get ashore sometimes till noon. Having to pay for bottled water as you go ashore. Other ships free.

lot of people with bad coughs. Unfortunately I caught it. After 3 days in bed & not eating went to doctors. Was told I had flu & acute bronchitis. Got back to cabin & saw on account it was $515 US!! Exchange money on ship was one Aust dollar to .64 US so that's $700 Aust.. went back in morning for check up as advised by doctor - was told I had to pay again as treatment was not free by abrupt guy. No way! So don't get sick. No duty of care to sick passengers. Our balcony statesroom was very comfortable and staff very helpful & friendly. Was advised that Celebrity Solstice was a top ship but never again. Very disappointed
