We chose this cruise due to the itinerary. We did all of our port stops on our own. Our favorite ports were Kotor, Dubrovnik, Athens, Toulon, and Rome. The market in Toulon was a great shopping experience. All of the NCL staff were professional, friendly, and helpful.

Ship: it is older. The ships needs updating. The decor is outdated. It would be nice to have wifi access for daily ship information.

Dining: The only dining venue we did not enjoy was Windows. The person at the front was rude and yelled at us. It took 45 minutes to order. We were served cold food. We never returned to this dining venue. The buffet was great the first few days. On days when we were in port, opening the buffet at 6:00 instead of 6:30 would have alleviated the morning rush. Speciality dining was above average.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

We rode the water taxi to the town.

Kotor

We walked right off the ship into the city. We found great deals shopping. We ate a local cafe. Excellent service and food.

Venice

We spent more time lost and trying to find things. We booked opera tickets through select Italy. This was a great experience.

Naples

The people mover is under construction it was difficult to find a taxi to the train station. Across the streeet from the cruise port is a stand to get bus/train tickets. Herculium and sorrento made this port.

Toulon

The market was great.
