We liked our first river cruise so much that we reserved another tour for next year while we were still on board. The food was excellent, with several delicious options each meal. Portions were sized nicely and the quality and taste was excellent. Wine, beer, and other beverages were provided. The water tasted of chemical treatment, and we would have preferred bottled water available at all times.
The river historian brought the history and river culture to life in a very interesting and animated manner. He was so good that we did not want to miss a single lecture!
The variety of nightly entertainment, including music and comedy, was also excellent.
The room was clean, nicely decorated, and a very nice size. However, our 27-inch roller suitcases did not fit under the beds. There is one (smallish) closet with about 12 hangers. Bathroom was fine, but should not be described as a "hotel-sized bathroom." We are not personally fond of duvets, as they can be too warm. We would have preferred a blanket option.
