We chose the cruise for the itinerary as we'd never been to Belize. It is also only an hour from where we live and we looked forward to the short drive. I think my 'booking agent' (husband) said he got a pretty good price on a suite. Only the second time we have ever had a suite, the other being a Costa ship.

We are Diamond on RCCL and we think their newer ships are beautifully decorated. Sunshine had cheery hallways with large, Florida style wall art. Maybe that is why the hallways always were so noisy - too cheerful and bright.

With the suite, came priority checkin which was really nice because there were long lines outside. Our room was also ready for us so we went right up. The room size was generous and we didn't use all of the drawers or closets. We had all ready been warned on 'Shipmates' about the one wall socket, but we had another in the dressing area.
