We chose this cruise because it was exactly what we wanted. We spent 2 nights in Zurich and 1 night in Basel before our trip where we enjoyed our first experience of the Xmas markets. Amazing! We were greeted at the ship and shown aboard. The check in process was seamless as was everything about this wonderful cruise. The training given to the staff must be top class because nothing was left to chance and the friendliness and professionalism were superb. The ship was spotlessly clean as was our stateroom thanks to the brilliant efforts of our steward Stefan. The food provided in abundance was fresh and delicious and I am feeling decidedly fat. The entertainment was great and a serious effort was made to include everyone. The excursions were once again well organised and informative. The service was outstanding from every single staff member. We had 3 days in Amsterdam after the completion of the cruise. There were a couple of hiccups which were inconvenient and this bought home the fact that Viking was a company who pride themselves on great service and attention to detail. We would definitely recommend this cruise and will be taking another in the future. Am I a Viking fan? Sure am!
