Disney made this trip as easy and painless as possible. We were shocked at how easy it was to stick to a budget, only dining with an upcharge was Palo. The ship was beautifully appointed and the staff was wonderful.

Stateroom

Our party split up into two rooms, a balcony stateroom and an inside stateroom. The balcony room featured split bathrooms (one room with toilet and sink, one room with shower and sink) that were extremely helpful. The standard inside staterooms only feature one. There was lots of storage in the room and under the bed. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable and the kids looked forward to seeing the towel animals each night. We also used the curtain at night which excited the kids to have their own "room". I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the Wave Phones as we used them consistently. They work throughout the ship, are permitted everywhere, and feature texting as well.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We had an excursion booked for the Mayan ruins but many people in our party were sick so we canceled. We took a taxi out to the ruins on our own and had a great time for a much cheaper price.

Orlando (Port Canaveral)

My direct family stayed at the Hard Rock hotel for one night to do Universal Studios on Thursday night. Then the rest of our party joined us at the Nickelodeon Hotel for Friday and Saturday night. We enjoyed DisneyQuest and Downtown Disney but didn't do the parks. Our group rented a minivan to drive from Orlando to Port Canaveral because it was much more inexpensive than Disney Cruise Line's shuttle service.
