On arrival on the Tui Discovery we made our own way to our cabin on deck 7. We were very pleased with the size and the cleanliness of the accommodation, there was plenty of hanging space not enough drawer space but lots of small shelves. The balcony was small but adequate. Throughout the cruise we were well looked after by our steward Ronaldo and his assistant. Fresh towels and linen supplied as needed. The food was very good in restaurant 47 on decks 4 & 5 . The Snack Shack on deck 9 was ideal for a sandwich and cold drink after a trip ashore. The islands buffet restaurant was not very good, the food was lukewarm and the ambiance was chaotic and noisy. We did not use the Surf and Turf or the Kora la on deck 11 as we felt that a cover charge of £25 per person was excessive as we had already paid all inclusive. The entertainment was excellent the dancers and singers very professional the stage sets marvellous with lots of great special effects. Comedy nights were hilarious. There was lots to do for all ages the glass house swimming pool for adults only a peaceful escape from the fun in the outdoor pool. Age prevented us from climbing the wall on deck 10. The bar service was good although at busy times the waiters were rather stretched. We went ashore independently and enjoyed all the islands. I also enjoyed the service in the Broadway Show Lounge on Christmas morning with carols and holy communion thanks to Tui for this. We have already booked on Tui Discovery in September 2017.
