Hawaii is a breathtakingly beautiful place. I've traveled to many locations throughout the world, and Hawaii is by far the most beautiful. From the lush rain forests, perfect beaches, to the active volcanos - it's so rich and diverse that it seems everywhere you look is a postcard. Did you know the "big island" of Hawaii is three volcanoes (two inactive, one active)? The people there live on a volcano. How cool is that?

How to do Hawaii is a major decision. Island hopping via plane can get pricey during the holidays, and it's a logistical nightmare. So we chose the 7 day cruise that visits each island. Why? The cruise orginates in Oahu every Saturday, and the ship (Pride Of America - NCL) was in a different port every day (except Maui where it stayed put for two days), so it was basically a floating hotel. It was a great way for newbies to see all the main islands and get a flavor of what Hawaii has to offer. Fantastic choice. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Listed below is my family's reveiw of the Cruise...
