Sail Date: Dec 2016

We spent 3 wonderful nights from Bagan to Mandalay(Mingun-Sagaing)slowly cruising along the Irrawaddy River. Each day the ship stopped to visit interesting places,(native villages), temples and pagodas with a ship tour director. We traveled by horse carts, bus, and water taxi. Corralling the guests was no easy task as shopping was always readily available and easy reach from the ship at each port. The staff spoke English. Very helpful in every way. We had a boat tour at sunset at Amarapura which has the world's longest teak bridge built in 1784.

A very special New Year celebration with a sandbar dinner and evening celebration with the ship's crew, staff. Traditional dancing, bar, and fireworks. Couldn't have been more memorable way to ring in the new year.

The ship is very clean and well appointed with a lovely sun deck, pool, and gathering areas inside and out. Exceptional service in all areas.

Cabin Review

We had a forward suite with 180 degree forward view. Very spacious and lovely outside decks. modern bath and shower. Clean, clean, clean.
