We loved our river cruise. The excursions were amazing, we enjoyed all of them. We also love the food and choices that were available. You could eat local food or have some of the dishes that were always on the menu. Wait staff was very attentive and funny. They definitely got to know you after a day or two. There was a mix of older people and younger people which really made our trip nice. I was worried it would be all seniors. Our cabin was more than roomy ... we had a balcony which next time I would not pay for that upgrade. Non balcony rooms have floor to ceiling windows and we were rarely in our room much less have time to sit on the balcony. We stayed two days in Amsterdam and loved it. Next time I would come in early to explore the departure port. .

My only wish is that it had a fitness room because the weather was iffy so we couldn't use the track that was outside.

Veranda Stateroom

I don't feel the need for a Veranda next time. We were barely in our room and it was almost $2000 to upgrade to that.
