We were two couples who had for years wanted to experience a river cruise. In every category imaginable, from staff to shipboard experiences & land excursions it was above & beyond expectations. We loved that the small size of the ship allowed us to interact with our fellow cruisers as well as getting to know the staff. Meal times were something we looked forward to with new choices every day. The local guides on our daily included shore excersions were so knowledgeable & interesting to meet & talk to. I thought this would be a once in a lifetime trip, and it was, but we plan on changing that and would not even hesitate to plan another cruise with Viking. There is a reason they have the reputation that they do & so many people are returning guest with them. If a vacation where everything is taken care of for you by personnel who care about your enjoyment, treat yourself!!
