We heard about Viking through some friends and when the Bordeaux Wine River cruise became available we jumped on the chance. Everything about this cruise was top shelf. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The ship's staff were all amazing and friendly. Every tour, whether included or optional was very well done - and we did them both. We walked through Bordeaux, Cadillac, St. Emilion, Blaye, and Pouillac. The optional tour of Cognac was amazing and the personalized Cognac we brought home - and finished - was great. We chose every other optional winery tour available and they were all different but equally good. The food and entertainment on board was amazing. Our wait staff ended up like family and knew our every want by the second day. The walking tours through the various cities with local guides that knew the history was excellent. Looking forward to a Rhine river cruise next year!!!

The room was fine for what we needed it for - a comfortable place to sleep and rest. The views out on the veranda when we were cruising the rivers was amazing.
