We chose this cruise because it's itinerary was exactly what we were looking for on our dream vacation and we had heard nothing but good about Viking Cruises. We arrived in Athens 3 days before the cruise to get a more in depth experience in Greece. When it was time to embark we arrived at the port and were greeted and escorted aboard for an arrival lunch. Our stateroom was ready for us before the promised time and when we got to the stateroom our luggage had already arrived. The stateroom was wonderful and well-stocked with snacks, soft drinks, and coffee. The ship is so comfortable and wonderfully not crowded. We never felt we were just part of a faceless crowd, the crew quickly learned our names and we were made to feel we were valued guests.

Everything about the cruise was well-planned, educational, entertaining, and well-timed. The shore excursions were wonderfully thought out and the variety of excursions to choose from allowed for everyone's taste. The excursions were in small enough groups to allow for individuality and questions

The food was well presented and high quality. All of the restaurant choices were wonderful and we did not have any meals we felt were less than wonderful. One of the highlights of our cruise was the luxurious spa. We enjoyed almost daily use of this facility.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Our stateroom was very comfortable and well maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The bathroom was well designed and met all of our needs. The steward kept everything impeccably neat and comfortable.
