We had heard nothing but good things about Viking and we weren't disappointed. Our Viking rep was able to upgrade our cabin to a suite and it was great. The food was delicious and we enjoyed having the Aquavit Lounge as a dining option, especially for lunch. The included shore excursions were a great value. We took two optional tours and were not disappointed. There were well worth the money. Transfers to ship/airport were well organized. We cruised in November and the weather was COLD!!! Because of this we weren't able to enjoy the outside area of the ship but this could not be helped. The Viking agents were most helpful when we arrived at the Amsterdam airport as to directions, etc. Our experience convinced us to try out the Viking Ocean Cruise experience and have booked a cruise later this year. Every evening our tour director gave specific details for excursions for the next day. The ship newsletters also served as a great way to help us remember trip details and share with family and friends.
