We are experienced travelers and generally make all of our own arrangements when traveling overseas. Because I suffer from motion sickness, we have never been on a cruise. The Bordeaux cruise took us to a part of Europe we had not explored and we were very interested in this area, so we decided to try a cruise. I did not get seasick!

This was a very relaxing trip; Viking staff took care of all our luggage, airline connections & ground transportation. Service was wonderful. Our rooms and the public areas of the ship were clean, and meals were good. The other passengers were a great group of folks and it was fun to meet and visit with them.

The off shore excursions were interesting, tour guides did a great job of guiding us around. When the ship docked, our room was always next to the dock which made our little balcony unusable. Really, that was the only downside of the entire trip.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We had a small balcony, however the ship docked on our balcony side, making our balcony unusable.
