Chose this particular cruise because my wife's grandparents were from the Czech republic but none of us had ever been there before. We had been on a Viking cruise previously on the Yangtze in China and loved every minute of it so we decided to take my wife's sisters and their husbands with us on the Elbe river cruise. It is a little expensive and they were skeptical at first but as soon as we had our first meal on the boat they were sold on the trip. because of the threat of low-water it potentially not being able to sail there were many no-shows on the trip which meant that we had very attentive staff people on the boat taking care of us the entire time. There were about two passengers for every crew member so the attention we received was unparalleled. The state rooms on this ship or smaller than the ones we had in China but we knew this going in so that did not disappoint us. The food was excellent the entire time and we really enjoyed our bartenders and are glad we paid for the silver package before we left. The scenery was spectacular and we enjoyed every minute of our trip and I know that we will sail with biking again in the future

French Balcony Stateroom

I don't remember our cabin number but as I mentioned the state rooms were small which made it difficult to maneuver but we were not surprised by this fact. The room was always clean and it was a small boat so they took very good care of us the entire time.
