Overall, the trip was wonderful. A few pointers:

1-As several blogs suggest, bring a refillable bottle of water. Every restaraunt has a tabletop cooler/dispenser with ice water. There are signs that ask you not to refill your bottle directly so we just used a cup (that was provided) and poured it into our bottles. Water tasted great and it was a good way to save a few dollars.

2- We dined each night in the formal dining room. Appetizers and desserts were fine, nothing spectacular but good. The main dishes were a hit or miss. Our servers were amazing. They gave their honest opinions about what was good and the reaction of the previous seating diners (we ate at 8:30). The first night I ordered a "steak" which neither looked or tasted like a steak. The servers are very accomodating and quickly took the entree back and brought me another choice. This happened with my son as well. Also, feel free to ask for a second appetizer, entree, dessert, whatever.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Having a balcony was the only way to go. Gave us a great view and enhanced the overall cruise experience.
