We have friends who have been on a Viking River Cruise and they said remarkable things about their cruise. We have wanted to go on a cruise and see Europe, so what better way. The cruise was smooth, the service was excellent and we could not have asked for more. We were always treated with smiles and enthusiasm. The few dietary restrictions we had were graciously accepted and provided with no difficulties. Food was delicious and varied from day to day so we never felt as though we were eating the same meal over & over. I really enjoyed having food that was related to the area in which we were traveling.

It was so enjoyable to be able to take a "tour" and only have to unpack once. That in itself was a real treat. We chose a room with a veranda and will do it again. Being able to sit outside on the veranda and watch the scenery, while enjoying a glass of wine, was fantastic. There was nothing I would change. It was a memorable journey!
