We chose this cruise, for an early 70th Birthday treat. It was to an area of the world we longed to see.
My husbands first cruise, and he wasn't sure what to expect. But he soon got in to life on board.
Everything about Azamara is slick, and perfectly organised.
We had to put up with a very noisy corridor. The whole wall opposite our Stateroom vibrated. The noise was spasmodic. But it did not make a relaxing holiday. And the noise started up during the night as well, so we lost sleep. When our door was shut, it was more of a dull throb. But when the bathroom door opened, the whole noise experience hit you in the face.
The cruise was full. So although our Attendant knew about it, and we reported it to Guest Relations, there wasn't much that could be done.
We think the noise was from the kitchens, from the floor below.
On a walk round all the decks, only our Stateroom experienced this noise.
Take a junk tour. Brillliant.
Did our own thing using the cruse shuttle bus.
Boarding day. All very slick.
