We did the "Images of a Golden Land" cruise from Bagan to Mandalay on the "Road to Mandalay".

The 4 days cruise on the Irrawaddy River was a truly memorable experience. The accommodation, restaurant, bars and common areas are all immaculate as is the food and level of service and the informative talks and quality entertainment much appreciated. 1st class throughout!

The schedule of sightseeing was well considered and small groups ensured a very personal experience. Our guide Yi Mon did an excellent job.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was very nice with good amenities provided. For a short trip it was adequate in size (approx 18m2/192 sq ft) but with hindsight I wish I had booked a larger cabin. The State cabins are 23m2/250sq ft - so something to bear in mind specially if embarking on a longer cruise.
