We chose the cruise because of the Mexican ports and first time there. Also hubbys first cruise.
Boarding was seamless and we were on with 30 mins with bags at the door. Very efficient. Cabin steward was friendly and always a smile when we saw him - he seemed to work mostly 18 hours a day.
Some of the entertainment was good some not really. We didint like the Pool DJ slamming out rap music around lunch time - heloooo this is an older generation cruise - they dont know or like rap crap. The other so so band was Starwave - an young english band - whenever they played 70s the floor was packed then they changed to something slow and boring - floor empty. ..the singer was sweet . The best singer was a soloist Rebecca Jean from Australia - brilliant. Ok now food - yes these cruises are feeding frenzies for the outta towners. - didnt much like the lining up and confusion of which restaurant you could dine at certain times when we had Anytime Dining chosen. Maybe because the ship was packed.
Lovely comfy cabin with space. and a window!
Matzalan quaint
