The flow of geting on and off ship was very smooth. Smashing ship, glad we chose smaller compared to some we saw en route. One couple who were not on our ship described her as "a lovely old lady" and big and new is not always better, we agree. It's the personal more intimate touches on a smaller ship. The cleanliness was just astounding, from our cabin with a balcony to the non stop cleaning of the interior to the exterior. My one niggle that the carpet could have been cleaner in The Islands. The food, particularly The Islands was 'outstanding' the choice was fantastic, always hot with hot plates for it to be served on, something for even the fussy of palettes.

We spent many a night in The Atrium, great waitress service, very attentive, good sense of humour. Entertainment wise, the saxophonist brilliant, we would buy his CD if he ever made one. Disappointing were the Ballroom dancers, they did not dance much as partners and I would have at least expected them to have worn at least 2 or 3 costumes, jeans and a t.shirt is not what you expect from 'professional' dancers who were there to entertain.

The disco on top deck was brilliant, the staff up there were more entertaining than downstairs, the DJ did a brilliant job and the cocktail making was fascinating to watch.

Cabin Review

Cabin Double with balcony

Best deck to be on, good standard, comfortable bed, lovely fresh linen and endless towel changing. Spotlessly clean inside and out.
