We wanted a short cruise for a quick getaway during the school year and decided on DCL to try something new (we've done multiple Carnival cruises in the past and my wife has taken a DCL cruise - but this was my first).

The embarkation process was simple and efficient. Our time slot was 11:00AM - the ship boarding began at 11:30. There isn't much point in getting there earlier than 11:30 but the wait was comfortable. Port Canaveral Park-n-Cruise made the process easier by handling all our luggage for us and making sure we were there quickly.

On board the experience was everything you would expect.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside Stateroom

Cabin 11A

Plenty large for 3 people (we brought our 15 year old). Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and ample storage.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Easy in and easy out
