Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Large Picture Window

We were excited to take our first Crystal Cruise as Crystal is known to be the "top of the line" in cruising. We found our cabin to be adequate but cramped and dated. The bathroom was above average.

While the ship is old, it is quite beautiful, the service excellent, the enrichment excellent, the entertainment very good, however the food was very disappointing. The dining room menu was not very extensive and the food preparation average. The quality of some of the cuts of meat were below average. The specialty restaurants were disappointing as well.

Our expectations were high due to Crystal's reputation and we surprised to find it lacking!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with Large Picture Window

Cabin C1

Furniture layout made the cabin a bit cramped. Promenade deck lacked privacy as joggers were running right by the picture window!! 7006 was right above the show room so there was noise during rehearsal time, which vibrated into the cabin. Decor was dated.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

There is a lot to see and do in Sydney. The Opera House Tour is a MUST as well as a boat ride on the Harbor. Enjoyed the Museum of Art and Botanical Garden.

Cairns

Walked around in the city and got drenched in a downpour!
