My husband had the Panama Canal on his bucket list so off we went with a group of 13. NCL did the travel arrangements and that went very well. The food was excellent. I have always said Carnival has better food than NCL but not anymore. NCL is much better now. The food and service in the Restraunts were wonderful. The Entertainment, as usual, was of very high quality. Our room Stewart was wonderful and very attentive.

We did a shore excursion in each port. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was excellent. Great history and an opportunity to explore. Accupolco was interesting as well however the guide took us shopping at a store where it was very expensive ie $60 for a straw hat. The bathroom that was promised as clean had no water or tiolet paper. The bathroom on the bus had no water to wash my hands. The cliff divers signed tee shirts were the best bargain of the whole trip and I wish I bought more than one. My grandson is thrilled with it and won't wear it. He wants to frame it.

I loved the Guatemala shore excursion to Easy Antigua. There were very few vendors to drive you nuts. The Jade Museum bathrooms were very clean and well supplied. There was a variety of jewelry prices and the coffee was wonderful. I loved seeing the puffing volcanos. The people were wonderful. When one waved to me and I waved back he face lit up. And that happened with every ,,,person I waved to! Juan song his national Anthem to us in the museum of the their president. What a beautiful voice and moving experience! I enjoyed shopping in the market where they would accept no and back down. Corintino Nicaraqua was guided by Abraham who was a very interesting person. Funny and a great historian . The town had no tourist vendors at all... just stuff for the local folks and it gave wonderful insight how the folks live. They are very poor by our standards. It was refreshing not be heckled by vendors selling junk. I was thrilled to hear a Protestant Church, Mnaantial De Vida, worshiping across the town square from the Catholic Church and I was welcomed in although the only word I understood was Amen and Magnificent. They would not accept a donation. How about that compared to other places where they are looking to clean your pockets?. Due to earlier excursions I knew not to drink so I would not have to pee but those that had to go had to wait for a one seater with no toilet paper or toilet seat.
