We just completed a 19 day cruise from Singapore to Sydney from February 1st to the 19th on the Azamara journey. WE LOVED IT!!!! The cruise had 680+ which was the perfect size to get to know people. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to serve.
My wife and I renewed our vows for our 10th year anniversary and everyone helped as we added to the basic wedding with music and our own vows. Yasmine, the concierge was a miracle worker and Steven, Christina, and Chris from the cast provided music that re-created "The Prayer" which was done at our original wedding.
The mixture of sea days and ports was delightfully balanced. This was beautiful, each day brought new things and old.
We had a cabin with a partial obstruction and a window instead of a balcony. Our room had a 'side' layout and we loved it. The view was partially obstructed by a lifeboat but it gave us the opportunity to watch the lowering of the tenders for trips to shore.k Nice cabin!
We spent three days pre-cruise and enjoyed ourselves. A large group from the cruise got together at Raffles for Singapore Slings the night before we sailed.
We hooked up with a private driver who didn't speak a lot of English - the temples were OK but we had friends that went to a active temple......
We wandered the town and enjoyed ourselves.....
We went into some of the small shops.....
The skyrail tour was impressive and we enjoyed walking the rain forest.
Very classy resort area; found a nice surfing outfit!!
