Great price and wanted to try out the K-dam. We had heard bad things about the lower decks in terms of loud sound from the music venues on 3, and that the upper staterooms experienced a lot of wind motion. So we chose deck 6 and were happy. Then took an up-sell to a Vista suite. Mistake, nowhere near worth what we paid.
There were no new special duvets, the space was as narrow as a regular verandah cabin.
To balance, the new specialty restaurants, Sel de Mer and CAC farm-to-table were very good and Tamarind was outstanding as always.
This state room was disappointing. The layout is different, in that the beds are next to the verandah with the "cosy sitting room" towards the door. It is as narrow as a verandah stateroom. It definitely didn't feel like a suite.
We went to Chocal, labeled bags, sorted seeds and planted seeds. We paid good money to do hand labor, but we approve the initiative to support island co-ops.
