After seeing a few negative comments on here, I was slightly apprehensive but my fears were totally diminished as soon as I arrived at the airport. Once we got through security there were a steady flow of MSC representatives telling you where to go, all very well organised. We were off on the bus without long to wait and once we arrived at Port Rashid, Dubai we were given a letter to say that we were able to board the ship early which was great. Check in was a few minutes and then we were on to the ship. We were able to upgrade out drinks package instantly which was our plan anyway. They then showed us up to the buffet for breakfast, which was needed after an overnight flight.
At 1pm we were allowed in the rooms, spacious, clean and everything you needed. We had a balcony room and plenty of space for two people.
We found the staff that we spoke to lovely including Natalia, Annette, Julian, Francesco, Alex, Igor and Weda - there were many more that I can't remember names of unfortunately. Everyone was helpful and smiled at us. I'm a believer if you are nice to them they are nice back, if you are rude to them they are not going to appreciate it.
Cabin was great, beds really comfy, plenty of space for two people. Bathroom had everything you needed, actually bigger than other cabins I have been in
been to Dubai before and love it. We spent our time in Bur Dubai and the souks that's the part you should see
Took the bus tour and went to the Mosque, It's a must visit, once in a lifetime. Amazing building.
Had a lovely wander through the souks and along the shoreline. Was a lovely sunny day and the views were gorgeous
