Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Oceanview (obstructed view)

Ruby Princess is essentially the same layout as Crown Princess, which my family has previously sailed upon, so we were quite familiar with the layout of the cabin and ship.

Unlike the Crown Princess, the service on Ruby Princess is extremely poor.

1. During the first shore excursion day, I got sick from the food onboard and had an acute stomach pain. Instead of acknowledging my condition to be caused by the food onboard, the ship medical officer simply shrugged it off to a bad case of indigestion. I've travelled widely to many countries in the past, including eating off the street in India and China with no ill effect. The ship medical officer can, at least, acknowledge that there might be food preparation challenges which resulted in my stomach trouble.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OW

While the ocean view is partially blocked by lifeboat, the view is still fantastic -- you can see the sun rise and sun set in the day.

The cabin is quite spacious with plenty of space to store stuff.
