We wanted to go somewhere over Christmas and had always heard how beautiful Dubrovnik and many of the other ports were. The Dining staff was excellent we ate most of our meals in the World Cafe, Manfredi's was too noisy for us and The Chef's Table was disappointing as far as what was on the menu that evening (not a big fan of what was being served) but the staff was excellent and attentive and the chef did alter the dishes to accommodate us.

We had heard that Viking was top notch and it was. Our embarkation was a mess, the port of Venice was closed so the ship had to disembark passengers first before we could be boarded, their was no communication as to what was going on.

The shore excursion to Pompeii was amazing and our guide was excellent.
