Lisbon and Douro River Cruise

We were surprising my wife's sister and her friend. We had planned the trip for six months ane were able to keep it a secret until we caught up with the at the hotel in Lisbon.

We were surprised to find the Douro River so scenic. The stops and excursions were all excellent, picturesque and informative. We had 10 days of cloudless skies and moderate temperatures. We particularly liked Salamanca, Spain.

The food and service were excellent and all the staff members were very attentive and accommodating.

We particularly appreciated the fact that excursions, gratuities and beverages were all included. It's very nice not to be nickel-and-dimed to death with a myriad of extra expenses.

The extra days in Lisbon and Porto were a pleasant extension to the overall trip.

This was a very easy-going voyage and we would highly recommend it to others who do not want an extended-day vacation.
