We wanted a true Cuban Experience and Celestyal Cruises are the only ones we knew of to provide that as most other cruises simply visit Havana. However, Celestyal take you to Cuban Ports and enhance your experience in the country.

Embarkation was probably the simplest we have ever experienced in our 20+ cruises with various lines. We were aware that the ship used to be a Car Ferry but is has been refurbished so well that you just would not realise that fact.

Our cabin was very spacious and immaculately clean, and yet again, probably larger than cabins on other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Cabin Xc

The cabin was large and had plenty of storage space. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our only complaint was that there was a "musty" smell from the drains in the bathroom.

Port Reviews

Cienfuegos

Awonderful town. We got a horse drawn taxi and were lucky enough to get the most fantastic Guide (Lester). If you go to Cienfuegos ask for Lester and his brother. They are wonderful and show you all there is to see in Cienfuegos...

Montego Bay

Hated the place. Went to Margaritaville - This should be renbamed as Rip-Off-Ville. The staff will literally cheat you out of your money by overcharging you. We paid a massive $132 for 8 Margaritas !! We would never return to Montego Bay not only because of this but also because you cannot move an inch without being hassled all the time... If you venture there - do NOT go to Margaritaville...

Santiago de Cuba

A wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw all the history and more including the grave of Fidel Castro. Definitely value for money...
